1. Information collected

When you look at this web site, our server may make a record of your visit and log the following information:

• your IP address (which may provide your server address / top level domain name, eg.
  .com, .gov, .au, .uk, .nl etc)
• the date and time of your visit to the site
• the pages you accessed and documents downloaded
• the previous site you have visited
• the type of browser you are using
• the operating system you are using

In general this information will only be used for statistical purposes, unless we believe some particular problem requires more detailed analysis.

2. Access to information collected

We will not make any attempt to identify individual users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our logs.

There are cases where we may ask you for personal information such as your name and/or e-mail address. We do this when you register for services that require registration or subscription or automated response (i.e. mailing lists, and member areas). Sometimes it is just to be of good service to you to notify you in the event of a problem. In any case, should you change your mind later or your information changes (such as your e-mail address) and an option is not installed for you to do this yourself, you need only to contact us and we will correct, update or remove the specified data collected by us.

As registered guest/members of our sites we do not monitor your activities, mail or any other service information. However, please realise that, as with other web sites, it is possible for us to become exposed to such information during server maintenance. Be assured that we genuinely have no interest in this information.

The CRCA web site never shares information about our users with advertisers, sponsors or any other third parties. For this reason you will rarely find outside advertisers on our side.

3. Use of information collected

We will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent.

This site does not (yet) provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet.

4. Cookies

Cookies can be either "persistent" or "session" based. Persistent cookies are stored on your computer, contain an expiration date, and may be used to track your browsing behaviour upon return to the issuing web site. Session cookies are short-lived, are used only during a browsing session, and expire when you quit your browser.

This web site only uses session cookies and only during a search query of the web site. The web site statistics for this web site are generated from the web logs as outlined above.

Upon closing your browser the session cookie set by this web site is destroyed and no personal information is maintained which might identify you should you visit our web site at a later date.

5. Links to other sites

Users of the CRCA web site should be aware that there are links to our affiliates as well as to other sites that take you outside our services.
