The bulletins mail list is now intended for any general CRCA matters including discussions. Saying that, it is intended to have an area on the new website for discussions.</div><div><br></div><div>The SIC made the decision, based on recommendations I put forward. It was discovered the numerous mail lists shared approximately a 95% common list of subscribers. These lists were rarely used, for example the discussion list received approximately one posting per month and was contributed to by the same 4 or 5 people. The time required to manage and moderate each list just isn't justified for the minimal use. The mailman software for these mail lists is quite old and primitive in terms of security so attracts a lot of spam.
