Subject: end of one journey, beginning of another.

 

Dear friends and family,

My preference would have been  to let each one of you know personally,  but
that would be too time consuming and draining emotionally, so I am resorting
to my usual way of communication  - to let you know that Harry's earthly
journey is completed. Today (Monday) at 2.00pm Harry quietly slipped away
into the eternity of God's loving presence - to be at home with God.  His
task here is finished. For Harry, it is a release from the physical
constraints that he has been experiencing since his hospitalization.

For us as a family, we are overwhelmed by the loss of  our loving and
beloved Harry after 12 long weeks  in hospital with its up and down times.

But we know that these 12 weeks have also prepared us for this day. God has
graciously given us these weeks to still  love, support and care for Harry.

As funeral and thanksgiving times, dates, places, are confirmed we will let
you know by email.

Pray for the comfort we need, and the ability to grieve, in the midst of our
losses and as we embrace the dailyness of life in its on-goingness  with all
its demands.

We are grateful for  you travelling alongside us with prayer and love,
through this journey.
