Hi to all bulletin editors. 

WD&R is assuming that there will be an opportunity for your members to give
this Sunday. Here's a notice for your church newsletter this Sunday.

Please give generously to Philippines Typhoon Appeal. 

As you know there has been a fierce Typhoon and a tidal surge in the
Philippines. WD&R is urging all our members to give generously to this
appeal. Our appeal funds will be channelled through CRCNA's "World Renew"
with whom we are in close contact. 

Giving can also be done through EFT, but you must indicate the word Typhoon

a) There will be an emergency response by providing tarps or shelter repair
kits,  or tools for clearing debris. Work will proceed in the south of the
Tacloban area and one in northern Iloilo. 

b) We plan to walk with a small number of communities, through various
stages of recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction, which may end up
being a 1 - 2 year program

Please continue to pray for so many poor folk who have endured so much.
