Intellectual giant, emotional dwarf

Last Sunday morning we studied the Body-life of the local church as we
reflected on Paul's teachings in Romans 12.  I pointed out that knowing what
your particular spiritual gifts are can be liberating.  If I am a shy and
withdrawing kind of person and I'm asked to take some leadership position
then that frees me up to say, "No!  Leadership is not the area where God has
gifted me!  Let me serve the Body of Christ in some other way."

This past week I did some further thinking about that and I really do need
to qualify what I said.
