This is something that we are unwilling to do. Furthermore, as elders we have an obligation to protect our members and this would certainly be a betrayal of confidence and may well cause them unnecessary harassment. <p class="MsoNormal">You might be well aware of the CPT’s work in our denomination to motivate and assist local churches in their church planting initiatives. Things have been going well the last couple of years and the CPT has been blessed in the work that Synod has tasked it to do. Unfortunately we have, like so many, found that finances are few and budgets have been cut to so many committee’s after the last Synod. CPT has a passion to see our Lord’s work being done and would like to continue our work in supporting church plants. In order to do our work to the best of our ability we have decided to come up with some fundraising initiatives to help us in the shortage. One of them is to approach local Church Councils for their help in identifying and compiling a list of the ‘financially more well to do’ members in their local church. The CPT would like to write a personal letter to them in asking their help in supporting our work in church planting. <u></u><u></u></p>
