Hi John,

Here are two books I have also found useful:
Spiritual Leadership (with Study Guide) Moody Press by J. Oswald Sanders - very practical and easily taken up & Biblical Eldership by Alexander Strauch (Lewis & Roth Publishers) which is more "heavy duty" and without a prepared study guide.

If you find that books are out of print, you can try places like abebooks.com and you can track them in second hand stores around the world, sometimes at bargain prices. I found 4 copies (2 in Aust and 2 in UK).

Blessings in serving Christ,

Bill

Has anyone used the updated version (by Tamminga I think)? “Escaping Mediocrity” by Kel Willis has been suggested but is out of print. Looking forward to hearing from you if you have a moment.
