Hi all

Just to clarify something which I've read a couple of times in recent
emails. It was stated:

"That no deputy or committee shall approach the churches for any form of
funding outside those specifically approved by Synod or the SIC." *SYNOD
1988 - Art 74.8.*

This was raised by the Business & Finance Committee and addressed at Synod
2012, specifically in respect to CPT's fund raising request for this
triennium. Refer to Synod 2012 Minutes, *Art 50.6.3*:

"Synod decided ... To make provision for ongoing funding of gospel
out-reach through church planting work in the next triennium by ....
granting CPT permission to raise funds for church planting from among
members of our churches."
