Over the past several years our nation has been involved in debating the very nature and
definition of marriage. The result of this debate, which included a plebiscite, was the redefinition of marriage by federal parliament to include same-sex partners. While this legal change of definition has been made, the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia (CRCA) believe that it is important to continue to uphold and defend marriage as being between one man and one woman, as taught in the Bible.
As a result we have drafted the following public statement about what we believe about marriage.
