A Church Reforming to Reach the Lost for Christ

Christian Reformed Churches of Australia

Good News smGod's love and faithfulness were celebrated on Sunday, 10 May 2020 as the Good News Christian Church, formerly known as the Hobart Reformed church, marked 60 years of gospel ministry.   This was a different kind of celebration from what was planned if the situation would have been normal.   However the session decided to have it anyway albeit in a different form via YouTube.

You can witness the service led by their current pastor, Rev. Bernard Cane as well as a presentation of the history of the congregation by B John vanderNiet, who was three years old when the church was instituted.   The links are provided below.

The Good News CC would like you to give thanks to God with them and pray for his grace and Spirit to lead them into the future he has in store for us.   They also express their heartfelt thanks to all former pastors, office bearers and members who have been part of the life, worship and ministry of this congregation.
