As the pages of a new year are turned on the calendar lots of people resolve to do something in the year ahead. Many make the resolution to loose some weight. The holiday season has packed on a few extra kilos and so people turn up at the gym and begin a routine of working out. For others it might be to get out of debt. Or attend church more often. Or to improve time management. Take a holiday. Quick smoking.
I like to suggest a challenge to you that you could turn into a resolve for 2017. Simply this: read through the Bible and take another person along with you on the journey. READ MORE
Over the past two years RTC has been planning and implementing a new model for the RTC so as to expand and improve their ministry. This week three more large steps have been taken with the launching of new RTC branding, a new website and the announcement of our new Melbourne CBD campus location. The new academic year is underway with an Intensive Hebrew course this week and our full lecture program beginning next week. We look forward to welcoming new and continuing students to another year of study, training and Christian community at the RTC. Please pray for some more late enrolments and for a great start to the year.

Elders are shepherds of the flock, and shepherds must lead the flock. But what kind of leadership are elders called to give? How are they to relate to other leaders in the church? Do they need the gift of leadership or is godly character the only qualification? How can good leadership be given by a team?
We are currently working hard to see the Melbourne campus fitted out in readiness for classes in February. There is still a lot of work to be done, so please pray that God would enable us to complete everything on time. Work is well underway... RTC Monthly
